The Jewllery business is a enormous and very competitive, so to be seen and unique, stand out in today’s marketing ways is hard.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

To take the leap of faith and (again) start something completely new to me, just for me.

What has been your biggest ‘fail’ so far?

Not being tech savvy, means alot of learning and many hours trying to figure stuff out. And the feeling of being behind in the marketing skills.

To create, plan for the next opportunity, research my heritage around the history of viking jewellery, see my designs come alive.

What do you find most challenging?

Seo, website changes and updates.
Not knowing if any of my several hundred planted seeds of leads will shoot of.

WordPress

Mailchimp and such, but I haven’t mastered it well enough yet.
A business coach and in my Excecutive program where I get to create a good foundation for the systems needed to scale.

What do you like about your website and what’s not working for you?

I like that it has the look I was after and needed , but I have no clue about how to edit, make more buy buttons etc. Or even if its customer friendly.

What lessons have you learnt during your time as an entrepreneur?

Patience.
Have a mentor or a coach.
Be prepared to be in it for the 3 to 5 years it usually takes.

What key tips for success in business would you like to share with others?

Your business is personal, you are the face of your company, act accordingly.
Build relation ships, network.
(Your network is your networth).
Give back to the community.

What is the one thing that you want everyone to take away from this post?

If you have a dream of becoming an entrepreneur, go for it, but expect to work hard.
Surround yourself with like minded groups, attend workshops, go for networking events etc, build your skills.
Dont be afraid to ask for help, and support. Entrepreneurship can be very lonely at times in the beginning.
