Birthday outfits and decoration packages with a particular focus on first birthdays.

Why did you start your business and how long have you been running it?

We have been running for one year. We started the business as a side hustle  because we both have little boys and couldn’t find anything for them to wear for their first birthdays as the focus was on girls’ dresses.

What struggles do you think most businesses face in your industry and what would you say they need to do to overcome them?

Consistent sales. Use a variety of advertising avenues.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

All of our positive customer reviews.

What has been your biggest ‘fail’ so far?

Diversifying into too many broad ranges making stock control challenging.

What do you love most about your business?

Seeing the customer photos of the children in their birthday outfits and knowing that you played a part in creating that special day.

What do you find most challenging?

Financial tracking.

Facebook advertising and groups, instagram advertising, connecting with local Mother’s Groups.

Customer service, blog writing.

What do you like about your website and what’s not working for you?

The ability to personalise and the automated functions and data analysis is great.

The overwhelming choices for add in apps and the difficulty to change some settings.
