I provide a tutoring service for children who have a disability. Parents want to support their children to learn and I provide their children with this opportunity.

What products/services do you offer?

Tutoring sessions, Learning Plans, Therapies and recruitment of tutors where necessary.

Why did you start your business and how long have you been running it?

I started my business to fill this gap in the learning community and because I am passionate about giving those with a disabilty access to opportunity and equity.

What struggles do you think most businesses face in your industry and what would you say they need to do to overcome them?

The biggest challenge is finding skilled tutors to meet the special needs of individual clients. Having a good understanding of the industry and a large network of contacts will assist this type of business to survive.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

Assist others strive to reach their potential.

What has been your biggest ‘fail’ so far?

Giving away business for no return.

What do you love most about your business?

Meeting families and working with them.

What do you find most challenging?

Negative attitudes to disability.

I have customer service and tutoring skills.

Word, Google Docs.

What do you like about your website and what’s not working for you?

It was created 4 years ago. It needs to be more interactive. Clients need to be able to click and email.

What lessons have you learnt during your time as an entrepreneur?

Provide a service and clients will come back.

Every inquiry is an opportunity.

Everyone is capable of learning something new.
