What products/services do you offer?

Promotional Products. Locally produced, and off shore! We have thousands of products available locally, and can produce anything our clients can dream up off shore!

Why did you start your business and how long have you been running it?

I was pregnant with my first child when i started SOURCEYM. Its been 7 years now. Since then, we had TRIPLETS! So we had 4 children under 4. Business is still going strong, thanks to my amazing husband and our incredible team!

What struggles do you think most businesses face in your industry and what would you say they need to do to overcome them?

Promotional Products are often overlooked as part of the marketing mix. But Marketers should be prioritising these products. Promotional Products are the ONLY advertising medium capable of engaging ALL of the five senses.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

Creating a business that allows me to be creative, but also flexible to be able to spend time with our four children.

What has been your biggest ‘fail’ so far?

Not launching a website for the first 4 years of our business!!!!

What do you love most about your business?

Our clients. We have the MOST AMAZING clients you could ever imagine. They are creative, and understanding and supportive. We really live by the motto “your vibe attracts your tribe”.

What do you find most challenging?

DISCOUNTING and PRICE MATCHING! Our clients often ask us to cross quote or price match, which is absolutely fine. But we always need to compare apples, with apples. Often we will receive a competitive quote which we are asked to price match, but they are not the same quality, or the prices do not include set up fees. We are very transparent with our fees, and they are all inclusive with no hidden costs!

How do you promote your business (please include as many details as you can)?

The first five years of our business were purely Word of Mouth, Now, we spend a lot of time on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and MailChimp!

What lessons have you learnt during your time as an entrepreneur?

Business is unpredictable. You never know what to expect. Dont ever get too comfortable and always be ready for change.

What key tips for success in business would you like to share with others?

Just Start! You can always adapt and change later. The hardest thing about starting a business or changing a business is the courage to start something!

What is the one thing that you want everyone to take away from this post?
